Applying Borders from the Crop Wizard

You can also apply a border to your image when you choose Custom Shapes and Borders from the Crop Wizard.

When you apply a border from the Crop Wizard you have the option of choosing a border style and color.  Start by selecting the desired border from the Border Style area.  To change the color, simply choose the color picker at right. You can also specify the width of your border from the slider below the Border Style area.

If you specify No Border and width of zero, FotoFinish will crop your image exactly along the boundaries of the Crop Shape you have selected.  If you select No Border with a width greater than zero, FotoFinish will apply a Vignette mask to the edge of your image.

Note: Border operations require extensive processing, so unless you are running a very fast computer, don’t be surprised by delays of several seconds during border and frame procedures.
